Itinerary

22 km | Flat

The journey begins on the stunning shores of Lake Iseo, where guests will stay in a luxury lakeside hotel.

After the IBT staff have carefully prepared the bikes, our expert guides will lead an exclusive ride through the rolling vineyards and scenic roads of Franciacorta.

The day concludes with a relaxing return to the hotel and a refined welcome aperitivo overlooking the lake.

64 km | Mix of flat and hilly terrain

The morning begins with a beautiful cycling loop around Lake Iseo — a perfect opportunity to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and crystal-clear waters of the lake.

In the afternoon, guests will visit the 1000 Miglia paddock and the vibrant Start Village, where vintage cars and international drivers bring the spirit of the race to life. There will also be time to stroll through Brescia’s charming historic center, discovering its elegant squares, monuments, and timeless Italian charm.

52 km | Flat

Day three begins with one of the most iconic moments of the 1000 Miglia: the official race start. Guests will witness a spectacular parade of timeless vintage cars as they set off from Brescia.

Afterwards, the group will transfer by car to Sirmione - on Garda Lake - where a delightful lunch overlooking the castle awaits. The afternoon continues with a scenic ride along the Mincio River cycle path, leading to the beautiful city of Mantua.

The day concludes with a short transfer to Modena, where guests will spend the night.

This day begins with a ride through the gentle hills of Emilia-Romagna, followed by a visit to the Ferrari Museum - celebrating the most iconic car brand in the world.

In the heart of Modena, guests will enjoy lunch in the main square while watching the Mille Miglia drivers pause during their journey.

The afternoon continues with a scenic drive along sections of the official race route, arriving in Pistoia for a relaxing evening in true Italian style.

The day begins with a scenic drive from Montecatini to the historic center of Siena - a truly unique experience, impossible to replicate during the rest of the year. Guests will arrive in the famous Piazza del Campo, where you can see all the 1000 Miglia cars.

From Siena, the adventure continues on two wheels with a spectacular ride to Cortona, cycling through the rolling Crete Senesi and the iconic Tuscan “Strade Bianche”, culminating in one of Italy’s most beautiful hilltop villages.

The day begins with a scenic ride from Cortona to Gubbio, discovering the most beautiful hills and hidden corners of the Umbrian countryside.

In Gubbio, guests will enjoy lunch with the 1000 Miglia drivers, soaking in the energy and excitement of the race, all with a touch of Italian elegance.

The afternoon continues with a transfer by car to Verucchio, where the centrally located hotel awaits, offering the perfect setting to relax and unwind after a day full of experiences.

Where to Meet

Please arrange to meet us at Verona Train Station at 2pm on Day 1. We will contact you via WhatsApp in the days leading up to the start of your tour to confirm your transfer and the name of the staff member collecting you.

Drop off Location

We can assist you with planning and booking of onward travel following the conclusion of your tour. We will run a transfer to Bologna Train Station, leaving the hotel at 10.30am. For alternative destinations or departure times, please contact us at alberto@italybiketours.com

Transfer Time

The transfer time from Milano to Iseo Lake is approximately 1h30 minutes on Day 1. Transfer from San Marino to Bologna Train station is around 2h on Day 8.

Road Conditions

The roads in Italy are generally in good condition, especially on main roads and cycle paths. Drivers are used to sharing the road with cyclists and are typically respectful.

Cuisine

Expect authentic Italian cuisine, with regional specialties, fresh ingredients, and delicious local wines to complement each day’s adventure.

Hotel Facilities
