A Journey Decades in the Making
While we are always proud to see our curated Italian Lakes experiences recognized on a national stage, this particular feature carries a bit of extra emotional weight. For Clive, seeing the Luxury Lakes name inside a Sainsbury’s publication is a true blast from the past.
Believe it or not, Clive’s very first job was at Sainsbury’s. Back then, he was learning the ropes of customer service and hard work in the aisles. Fast forward to today, and the company he built from the ground up is being showcased to millions of readers by that very same household name.
It’s funny how life works. I remember my first day on the job at Sainsbury’s like it was yesterday. To be back in their world—this time sharing my passion for the Lakes—it’s a great memory.
