The 12 Day Giro Trip was unforgettable!! Full immersion into Italian 🇮🇹 culture! The people, the places, the food, the coffee stops, and the cycling - stupendous! Behind the name “Italian Bike Tours” are a group of people (guides, mechanics, and owners) who really do care about your experience. IBT has captured the concept of “hospitality” and my wife and I had an absolute “ball” on our Giro d’Italia adventure!

Had an incredible experience during the second week of the Giro d’Italia. Every day brought a unique and unforgettable experience, with the final VIP day, it truly took it to another level. Fausto and the entire IBT team Lorenzo, Marco, Giacomo and Anita made this a trip to remember. Their passion, organization, and hospitality were outstanding from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience the Giro in a special way.

I just returned from the 2026 Last 12 Days of the Giro trip. I had high expectations and they were exceeded in every way. The riding was great. The guides were excellent. The complicated logistics were handled so well they appeared to be effortless. (They are anything but.) An excellent mix of riding, race watching and soaking up all that Italy offers. The food was fabulous, the coffee stops plentiful and the bikes were pampered as much as the riders. For the price charged this trip was a tremendous value. Can’t wait to join you again soon.

Our IBT Giro week exceeded our expectations in every way - start to finish! My husband rode and I was a non-rider and we both had a fabulous time. The entire team is top notch, all of them work extremely hard and have fun doing it. I enjoyed my non-rider hours with Anita and Erica, both wonderful humans. Our leader, Ivan, did such a great job keeping us organized, on time, and happy. Lorenzo, Michele, and Jack were also integral in making our 7 days magical. Stefano took amazing photos and video of it all. Our fellow attendees are now our friends forever. This was one of those trips where it was hard to say goodbye; so we'll say, see you soon! A presto amici!

Favoloso… Straordinario…

We had a massively positive experience with IBT for the Giro d’Italia 2026. Everything exceeded our expectations - the rides, the support & amazing staff, the hotels, the transportation, the food and entertainment. Not only was the rider experience great, but the non-rider experience was also terrific, well considered, and pure fun (grazie Anita!). This was truly the trip of a lifetime. We can’t wait to tour with Fausto and the IBT again soon.

Your Giro d'Italia 2027 Second Week Cycling Tourbegins in beautiful Siena, in the heart of Tuscany. Please arrange to meet our team at Siena Train Station at 2:00 PM on Monday, 17 May.

We'll contact you via WhatsApp in the days before your arrival to confirm the meeting details and the name of the team member welcoming you.

If you're travelling from Florence or Rome, alternative transfers may be arranged for an additional fee. Please contact us in advance to discuss the available options.

After our final breakfast together on Monday, 24 May 2027, we'll arrange a group transfer from our hotel in the Brianza area to Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP).

To allow sufficient time for the transfer, airport check-in and security procedures, we recommend booking your return flight no earlier than 3:00 PM.

If you're planning to extend your stay in Milan, visit Lake Como or continue travelling through Italy, please get in touch. We'll be happy to assist with alternative transfer arrangements.

Our first hotel is located in the beautiful countryside surrounding Siena, a short drive from the train station. We recommend having lunch before our scheduled meeting at 2:00 PM, as we'll be preparing for our afternoon welcome ride.

On departure day, allow approximately 1–1.5 hours for the journey from the Brianza area to Milan Malpensa Airport, depending on traffic and the final hotel location.

Cycling through Tuscany, Emilia-Romagna and Lombardy offers an incredible variety of terrain, from gentle countryside roads and rolling vineyards to rewarding climbs in the Tuscan Apennines and the mountains surrounding Lake Como.

Most of our routes follow paved, generally well-maintained roads, although surfaces can vary, especially in rural and mountainous areas. Some sections may include narrow roads, uneven surfaces, steep gradients and winding descents.

For riders choosing the Strade Bianche Experience near Siena, expect sections of the famous white gravel roads, where bike handling and confidence on loose surfaces are important.

One of the greatest pleasures of cycling through Italy is discovering the extraordinary food and wine traditions of each region.

In Tuscany, savour handmade pici pasta, rich olive oil, traditional Tuscan dishes and renowned regional wines. Around Florence, discover the flavours of the Renaissance city, including the famous Bistecca alla Fiorentina.

As we travel through Emilia-Romagna, enjoy some of Italy's best-known culinary specialities, from Parmigiano Reggiano and fresh pasta to delicious local cured meats.

Finally, in Lombardy, discover traditional risotto, local cheeses and authentic mountain cuisine. Our shared dinners are the perfect opportunity to celebrate each day's ride over wonderful Italian food.

Throughout our Giro d'Italia 2027 Second Week Tour, we'll stay in carefully selected 4* accommodation in Tuscany and the Brianza countryside.

Our hotels have been chosen for their comfort, welcoming atmosphere and convenient locations for our cycling routes and Giro experiences.

Depending on the property, facilities may include swimming pools, wellness areas, laundry services, Wi-Fi and bar facilities. Some services may be seasonal or subject to additional charges.

We recommend bringing swimwear if you'd like to enjoy any available pool or wellness facilities during your free time.

Travelling with friends, family or a cycling club? We'd be delighted to create a private cycling tour in Italy for groups of six or more.

Absolutely! Non-riding partners are always welcome on our Giro d'Italia cycling tours.

While the cyclists explore Italy's legendary roads, non-riders can discover some of the country's most fascinating destinations, from the medieval streets of Siena to the Renaissance treasures of Florence and the beautiful landscapes around Lake Como.
