Conquer Europe’s Toughest Gran Fondo in the Dolomites

Step into the heart of the Dolomites for an unforgettable cycling experience built around one of Europe’s most iconic Gran Fondo events. This is more than a race - it’s a celebration of cycling culture, Italian style, and the pure joy of riding in one of the world’s greatest road cycling destinations.

Set against the dramatic, jagged peaks that are currently preparing to host the Winter Olympics, this journey blends scenic warm-up rides, legendary climbs, and the electric energy of race day. These UNESCO-listed roads are the true home of Italian cycling; in fact, on May 29th, the Giro d’Italia departs from Feltre, retracing half of the prestigious Sportful Gran Fondo route. Riding here allows you to follow directly in the tire tracks of the pro peloton just weeks after they battle for the Maglia Rosa.

Without a doubt, this is Europe’s toughest Gran Fondo. It is a demanding yet deeply rewarding challenge where every ascent tests both legs and spirit. One such legendary climb is the Passo Croce d’Aune. It was here, amidst the snow and grit, that Tulio Campagnolo had the revolutionary intuition for the quick-release skewer - an invention that changed cycling forever. Today, enthusiasts from around the world pause at the monument dedicated to this moment, capturing a selfie with a piece of cycling history before tackling the final kilometers.

At the heart of the experience is Sportful, a brand born in these very mountains and deeply rooted in Italian heritage. Renowned for innovation and craftsmanship, Sportful is synonymous with the Gran Fondo Sportful Dolomiti - an event that perfectly captures the essence of challenge, authenticity, and passion.

Ride alongside cycling legends, enjoy exclusive behind-the-scenes access, and immerse yourself in the unmistakable rhythm of Italian cycling life - from espresso stops to post-ride aperitivi. With seamless support, curated routes, and the Olympic spirit in the air, this is cycling at its finest: challenging, inspiring, and unmistakably Italian.
