Itinerary

Your journey begins upon arrival at Genoa Airport, where our team will welcome you and transfer you to your accommodation. After a brief personalized bike fit, we’ll get ready to explore the Riviera on two wheels. Our first ride, a welcome ride, takes you along the brand-new seaside bike path from Imperia to Sanremo: a stunning route with breathtaking views, sea breeze, and charming Ligurian villages. It’s the perfect way to stretch your legs and soak up the atmosphere of Italy’s legendary classics.

The day ends with a special evening: an aperitif with our former pro guide, who will share exclusive insights and behind-the-scenes stories from his Milan–Sanremo experiences. A night full of smiles, inspiration, and the first taste of the cycling passion we’ll enjoy together over the coming days.

Today we dive into the heart of the Ligurian hinterland, tackling some of the region’s iconic climbs, including the legendary Testico. The route winds through picturesque villages that seem frozen in time, offering a true taste of authentic Ligurian culture. Along the way, you’ll pass charming spots like Diano Castello, Cervo, and San Bartolomeo al Mare, each with its own history, narrow streets, and stunning views.

After a morning of riding, the afternoon is yours to relax along the seafront, recharge, and enjoy the Riviera at a slower pace before tomorrow’s big spectacle. The combination of epic climbs, scenic villages, and seaside relaxation makes this a day to remember.

Today is the highlight of the trip: the professional race, a truly incredible spectacle—the legendary Classicissima!

In the morning, ride with our expert guides on the famous climbs of Cipressa and Poggio, feeling the excitement and atmosphere that make this race so iconic. Experience firsthand the routes where history is made and adrenaline runs high.

At the finish in Sanremo, enjoy the race from the VIP reserved area, soaking in every thrilling moment. Witness the podium celebrations and exclusive interviews, making it a truly unforgettable experience.

The day concludes with a delightful dinner in Sanremo before returning to the hotel, reflecting on a day full of cycling, passion, and unforgettable memories.

Today we take on the Gran Fondo, starting from Sanremo and finishing on the iconic Poggio!

Get ready for 100 km of pure adrenaline, featuring legendary climbs such as Cipressa and Costa Rainera, perfectly balanced with flat stretches along the stunning seafront. Along the way, the IBT team will take care of every rider, with extra-provided feed stations to keep you fueled and ready for the challenges ahead.

After an unforgettable day on the bike, we’ll gather for a celebratory dinner, sharing stories, laughs, and toasting the incredible performances of all athletes. This is a day to ride hard, feel the thrill, and celebrate the spirit of cycling together.

On the final day, it’s time to say goodbye to the Riviera. After a relaxed morning and perhaps a last stroll along the seafront, our team will assist with transfers to the airport, ensuring a smooth departure. Where to Meet

Please arrange to meet us at Genoa Airport at 1 pm on Day 1. We will contact you via WhatsApp in the days leading up to the start of your tour to confirm your transfer and the name of the staff member collecting you.

Drop off Location

We can assist you with planning and booking of onward travel following the conclusion of your tour. We will run a transfer to Genoa Airport, leaving the hotel at 10.30 am. For alternative destinations or departure times, please contact us at alberto@italybiketours.com

Transfer Time

The transfer time from Genoa Airport to our hotel is approximately 1h30 minutes.

Road conditions

The roads in Italy are generally in good condition, especially on main roads and cycle paths. Drivers are used to sharing the road with cyclists and are typically respectful.
