I just finished the Luxury Lakes and Vineyards tour with IBT and am very happy with the entire experience. The team at IBT take very good care of you from the initial pick-up at the train station to dropping you off at the end - how nice is THAT. Our guides Savi and Anita were superb and knew every pathway and curve of the areas we toured and always had our safety and comfort in mind. Weather can never be certain anywhere in the world and on the one rainy day we got to ‘tough it out’ at a vineyard lunch. Our bikes were ready every morning and in perfect condition. Welcome to Italy! As with every Italy Bike Tours holiday, one of our friendly team members will be waiting for you at the airport or designated meeting point, ready to accompany you to Hotel Al Sorriso in beautiful Levico Terme. Upon arrival, we’ll assist with your bags and check-in, making sure you settle in comfortably.
In the afternoon, we’ll prepare your bikes and head out for a gentle warm-up ride - the perfect way to stretch your legs and make sure everything feels just right. The route circles the serene shores of Lake Caldonazzo and Lake Levico, offering peaceful views and a first taste of the landscapes to come.
We’ll finish the day with dinner in the hotel’s restaurant, where you can relax, recharge, and soak in the excitement of the days ahead.

After enjoying a sumptuous breakfast, we’ll get ready for an exciting day on the bike. A short safety briefing sets the tone before we roll onto the scenic Valsugana cycling path, a beautiful route that winds gently above the clear waters of the Brenta River.
Our ride leads us to Bassano del Grappa, a historic town known for its key role in World War I and its long-standing tradition of crafting Italy’s most famous grappa. Here, we’ll enjoy a guided tour and tasting, discovering the rich aromas and flavours of this iconic local spirit.
Afterward, we’ll transfer back to the hotel, where a refreshing aperitivo awaits. The evening is yours to wander the charming historic centre of Levico Terme, soak in the atmosphere, and enjoy dinner at your own pace.

After savouring a delicious brioche and a perfect Italian coffee, we’ll transfer to Folgaria, reaching the small village of San Sebastiano for a truly unique experience: goat trekking. While popular in France and Switzerland, this activity is still a hidden gem in Italy, making it all the more special.
After the trek, we’ll head to Maso Guez for a cheese tasting, where you can savour local flavors while taking in the breathtaking views of the valley from their stunning panoramic terrace.

No trip to Alpe Cimbra is complete without an exhilarating E-Bike tour around its most important World War I fortresses, powerful reminders of the region’s history.
