PEDALING IN PUGLIA

Our Puglia tour in June with IBT was excellent. The timely and informative pretour correspondence from the team gave us confidence and we were rewarded with a great support driver Simone and bike guide Matteo. The central locations of Conversano and Matera allowed us to enjoy the historical towns, festivals and local culture as well as great riding, without moving each day. There was flexibility, stopping for photos and one day we opted for a shorter day and more sightseeing. We had some surprise inclusions which were wonderful. We made great friends with Simone and Matteo, and they coped with our Aussie humour! "VOLARE" "Chuck a U-ey"

I wish I could give IBT six stars. The service was nothing short of impeccable and the company members throughout were fun-loving, adventurous & considerate souls. Our guide, Pavel, may have been the most-spirited in this regard. Pavel’s ability to literally & figuratively “go the extra mile” on our behalf was seemingly limitless. In short, we can’t thank IBT, and particularly Pavel, enough for turning the hope of a custom Lombardy Tour into a dream-like experience.

We did the Pugulia Bike Tour in the south of Italy. Would rate it 5 out of 5. The bikes along the ocean had great views. We had a boat tour booked but the ocean was too rough. Pavel and Nicola organized additional bike ride up to a winery, it was impromptu and the highlight of the trip. The guides (Pavel and Nicola) really know their stuff they were able to fit the bike perfectly for my 10 year old son. Matera at the end was great, the hotel was incredible and the walking tour was a great way to see the city. The guides also knew all the routes and kept the rides fun and safe. Would highly recommend.

Fausto was the best! He and Carlo both helped to determine the proper fit for our bikes. They were friendly and flexible with our routes and times. The scenery was beautiful, foods good, hotels great. We will never forget this trip. It was wonderful.

We had an exceptionally enjoyable cycle tour with Christian (guide) and Marco (support) through the Italian Northern Lakes. We were well looked after and found the various daily biking routes varied and scenic. The final day's bike to the Ghisallo Cycling Museum was a highlight and a great way to complete the tour. The range of accommodation and location of the various hotels was well planned as well as the wine tasting, coffee sampling and dinners out all added to the experience. Well done Italy Bike Tours.
