Signing up to be a guest rider for 12 days with a World Tour team? Vicariously, it felt that way. Everything was prepared for you - the meals (many of the dinners were included and reflected the local cuisine where we stayed), the bikes (checked and cleaned on a daily basis), the training plan (there was the option to do a shorter ride or take a rest day and join the non-rider program), the guides (as mentioned in other reviews, former pro riders) and support staff that would come with us. All we had to do was ride and commiserate 🏔️ 🏔️ 🏔️ 🏔️ to our heart's content.

Wow - we just completed an unforgettable week with Italy Bike Tours week 2 of Giro D’ Italia. Our tour guide Fausto and the entire team provided incredible experience. Every detail, from the bike rentals to the finer touches of the route and selecting dinner places—was thoughtfully planned and executed, making the trip seamless and truly enjoyable. We had 3-4 guides on every bike trip for a group of 15, and they made the rides safe, enjoyable and fun. Provided clear direction and coaches us when it got challenging. Erica, Pavel, Lorenzo and Davide went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and supported us with whatever we needed. Everything from wine tasting expertise to fixing my flat tire.

I don’t know where to start because this bike tour for the Giro d’italia 2nd stage was unbelievable amazing! Italy bike tours do such a great job organizing, communicating, keeping us safe and taking care of every single detail. Erica, Fausto, Pavel, Lorenzo, Davide are the best team ever! We were a group of 14 amazing people that felt connected and comfortable getting to know each other and riding like a team! The sightseeing is incredible, you get to see Italy in 2 wheels, experience the culture, connect with the nature and just ENJOY the rides! Also, we got to experience the Giro d’italia fever! We rode some parts of the routes and it truly made this trip unique! You see and cheer the super human cycling PROS! I highly recommend Italy Bike Tours! I am already planning to come back for new adventures! Thank you for such a memorable time in the Tuscan soil.

Italy Bike Tours provided a wonderful opportunity to see the tuscany countryside. Beautiful!! We followed the Giro d’Italia second week, crazy exciting! IBT team provided everything we needed and more. My husband decided an Ebike would be a better fit and they had it the next morning. The IBT team was amazing and absolutely a joy to be with. We can’t thank them enough!!!
