| Riding in Italy |
The general road conditions around the north of Italy are good with many cycle paths. At certain times of the year, roads may be busy with cars and motorbikes. For these reasons, we may adjust ride times. |
| Cuisine |
The cuisine is excellent in the areas as well as in the surrounding regions of Emilia-Romagna, Piedmont, and Lombardy. In the lagoon areas, freshwater and seafood take center stage: eels, clams, and mussels are often served freshly caught, prepared according to traditional recipes. Polenta is a classic side dish or serves as a base for fish or meat dishes. In Piedmont, risotto is very popular and is often enhanced with local ingredients such as mushrooms, cheeses, or seasonal herbs. |
| Hotel Facilities |
The hotels on this tour have pools and spas so we recommend bringing swimming costumes. The hotels also have good WiFi and bar service. All our hotels have air conditioning. Hotels may charge extra for the use of these facilities. |
| Private Tours & Groups |
We welcome the opportunity to discuss a private tour with you should you be in a group of six or more. A private tour allows you to choose dates and personalise the itinerary according to your requirements. |
| Weather |
Our highly experienced local guides check the weather daily and adjust rides if necessary. The average summer temperature in the areas of interest can range from 20°C to 35°C (68°F – 95°F). |
