The general road conditions in Italy are very good, mostly are quiet with less traffic. The majority of roads in are tarmac but we will also be riding on some gravel roads - they are in good condition and can be enjoyed on both a road, gravel or E-Bike. |
| Cuisine |
The food in Northern Italy is exceptional. In Liguria, delight in fresh seafood and pasta like Trofie al Pesto, draped in fragrant basil‑pine nut‑garlic sauce and olive oil. In Piedmont, savour the earthy richness of truffles - try a truffle‑accented risotto or handmade agnolotti - often paired with local wines such as Barolo. And in Lombardy enjoy creamy Risotto alla Milanese or a comforting plate of ossobuco with saffron rice. |

The hotels on this tour have pools or spa so we recommend bringing swimming costumes. The hotels also have good WiFi and bar service. All our hotels have air conditioning. Hotels may charge extra for the use of these facilities. |
