Upon arrival at Milan Bergamo Airport, you’ll be welcomed by our friendly team and transferred to your hotel, where your bike fit will be waiting.
Your warm-up ride leads you out of Bergamo and into the peaceful beauty of Valle Brembana, surrounded by rolling hills, small villages, and the quiet charm of the Italian countryside.
In the evening, enjoy dinner in Bergamo Città Alta, the historic hilltop quarter known for its medieval streets, elegant piazzas, and breathtaking views. The perfect start to your Lombardy cycling adventure.

Today the real riding begins! After breakfast, we set out on a stunning loop that takes you up the iconic Selvino—an ascent every cyclist should experience at least once.
The ride begins with beautiful views of Bergamo’s medieval skyline before opening into peaceful countryside roads. As the climb approaches, the famous 19 hairpin turns rise ahead, offering a steady, satisfying challenge. At the summit, sweeping views of rolling green hills reward your effort, making every pedal stroke worthwhile.
An exhilarating descent back toward Bergamo rounds off the day - a perfect blend of challenge, beauty, and pure cycling joy.

Today, the World Tour riders take on the legendary Giro di Lombardia—and you’ll be right there to witness it. After leaving the hotel, we head northwest toward Lecco and continue along the shimmering edge of Lake Como toward Bellagio. From here, it’s up, up, up as we tackle the exhilarating climb to Ghisallo.
The first 4 km are the toughest: the road narrows, the gradients bite, and excitement builds with every switchback, knowing the pros will soon storm up the same slopes. At the summit, the iconic Madonna del Ghisallo sanctuary and the gathering crowds create an electric atmosphere. Watching the peloton fly past this historic site is nothing short of unforgettable - a true celebration of cycling passion.
Guests with the VIP option will continue to the Finish Line Hospitality area for an exclusive race-day experience.
Afterward, we return to the hotel by van. A relaxed early dinner awaits, followed by a well-earned rest - tomorrow, it’s your turn to take on the Gran Fondo.

Throughout the Gran Fondo, our staff will be stationed along the route with drinks, nutrition, and plenty of support - whether you need a quick push, a friendly check-in, or a boost of motivation to keep you flying.
At the finish line, they’ll be waiting to take care of your bike so you can dive straight into the pasta party and celebrations that make the Il Lombardia Gran Fondo such a vibrant and rewarding experience.

- When: From 8th to 12th October 2026.
- Start: The journey begins in Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport (BGY), with a transfer to our hotel in Albino.
- Finish: From Albino, a transfer will be arranged to take you back to the same airport.
- Nearest Airport: We recommend looking into flights to Bergamo Orio al Serio Airport for both arrival and departure.
- Top Tip: Spaces are limited, so book early to secure your spot and guarantee access to this one-of-a-kind cycling adventure.
- Average Age of Guest: The minimum age to participate in the Granfondo is 18 years old, but all guests are welcome to join our package. A good level of fitness and a passion for cycling are recommended.
