Moments From
The Journey.
Day
by day.
Six incredible days to experience Slovenia at its best - where alpine scenery, culture and village life come together.
Your adventure starts at Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE), where our friendly team will be waiting to welcome you.
From there, we’ll head into the mountains and settle into our first hotel, with time to relax and get your bike perfectly fitted.
Then it’s time to clip in for a gentle welcome ride through alpine valleys, traditional villages and peaceful roads beneath the Julian Alps - a beautiful first taste of what lies ahead.
Tonight, we will celebrate the start of an amazing journey together, with a local dinner and traditional flavours.
Hotel Astoria | Bled
Today we ride deeper into the Julian Alps, surrounded by towering peaks, dense forests and crystal-clear mountain rivers.
We’ll take our time to enjoy the scenery, stopping for a relaxed mid-morning coffee in one of the alpine villages along the way./p>
As the ride continues, the landscape opens into beautiful valleys and dramatic mountain views, with a well-earned lunch in Kranjska Gora, one of Slovenia’s most iconic alpine towns.
We will then head back to our hotel, to refresh, relax and enjoy a well deserved dinner.
Hotel Astoria | Bled
Today’s ride takes us through the beautiful Bohinj Valley, where traditional alpine villages, open meadows and forested slopes sit beneath the dramatic peaks of the Julian Alps.
As we approach Lake Bohinj, the scenery becomes even more impressive, with crystal-clear water framed by mountains and dense forest. After the ride, we’ll swap the bikes for kayaks and head out onto the lake, paddling across the calm water with the Julian Alps rising all around us.It’s the perfect way to experience Bohinj from two completely different perspectives — first from the saddle, then from the water.
Our day ends with a good dinner in Bled.
Hotel Astoria | Bled
Today we leave the high mountains behind and watch the landscape gradually soften as the journey takes on a completely different character. The route winds through dense forests, rolling green valleys and quiet farming areas, linking small villages where daily life moves at a slower pace.
We’ll ride along peaceful, lesser-travelled roads, with time for a relaxed coffee stop and a local lunch along the way.
We’ll finish the ride in Ljubljana, then head to our new hotel to settle in and enjoy the evening in Slovenia’s lively town of Hruševje.
Pira Hotel | Hruševje
Today we continue south as the scenery changes once again, leaving the alpine landscapes behind for rolling countryside, dense forests and Slovenia’s distinctive Karst terrain.
As we reach the Postojna region, we’ll leave the bikes behind and visit the extraordinary Postojna Caves, exploring their vast chambers and remarkable underground formations.
After the visit, we’ll head back to our hotel and get ready for our final evening together.
Pira Hotel | Hruševje
After an early breakfast, we’ll set off for our final ride through the peaceful Karst countryside, with Predjama Castle as the highlight of the morning. Built dramatically into a 123-metre-high cliff and standing for more than 800 years, it is one of Slovenia’s most extraordinary landmarks and the world’s largest cave castle.
After taking time to admire the castle and its spectacular setting, we’ll continue the final kilometres of the ride before heading back to the hotel. There will be time to freshen up, pack and check out, bringing our Slovenian adventure to a memorable close.
