Welcome to Sardinia! After arriving on the island, we'll transfer to our hotel in the beautiful Alghero area, where our team will help you settle in and make sure your bike is perfectly fitted for the adventure ahead.

Our first ride introduces us to Sardinia's spectacular north-western coastline. Following scenic coastal roads, we'll make our way towards the dramatic limestone cliffs of Capo Caccia, where breathtaking views stretch across the sparkling Mediterranean Sea.

This remarkable headland is also home to the famous Neptune's Grotto, a magnificent sea cave filled with extraordinary stalactites, stalagmites and an underground saltwater lake. It's a wonderful introduction to the island's natural beauty and a perfect first taste of cycling in Sardinia.

After our ride, we'll return to the hotel to relax before enjoying our first evening in the charming Alghero area.

Hotel Punta Negra | Alghero

Half-close your eyes and you could be in Istanbul or Dubrovnik. With its domed churches, terracotta rooftops and golden walls, Alghero is a fascinating blend of cultures, where Catalan heritage meets centuries of Mediterranean history.

Today, we'll ride through Alghero's enchanting historic centre before following one of Sardinia's most spectacular coastal roads south towards Bosa Marina. Expect sweeping sea views, dramatic cliffs, peaceful stretches of countryside and beautiful winding roads overlooking the Mediterranean.

Along the way, we'll discover the colourful charm of the Bosa area, famous for its pastel-coloured houses, traditional character and picturesque riverside setting.

After enjoying some time to soak up the atmosphere, we'll transfer back to our hotel near Alghero for another relaxing evening on Sardinia's beautiful western coast.

Today, we leave Sardinia's western coastline behind and journey into the island's fascinating interior, discovering a completely different side of this extraordinary destination.

After breakfast, we'll enjoy a morning transfer by van to Tempio Pausania, a charming town nestled in the heart of Gallura, known for its granite architecture, traditional character and beautiful natural surroundings.

From here, we'll get into the saddle for a memorable ride through Sardinia's authentic inland landscapes. Quiet countryside roads lead us through rolling hills, granite formations and picturesque rural scenery, offering a wonderful contrast to the coastal routes of the previous days.

As we make our way north towards Palau, the landscape gradually opens up, revealing beautiful Mediterranean vegetation and glimpses of the island's spectacular northern coastline.

Our ride finishes in Palau, where we'll check into our new hotel. With the turquoise waters of the La Maddalena Archipelago just offshore, this charming seaside town will be our base for the final part of our Sardinian adventure.

Starting from Palau, we'll ride along some of Sardinia's most scenic coastal roads, following the sparkling turquoise waters and hidden coves of the legendary Costa Smeralda.

Today's route takes us through beautiful Mediterranean landscapes, where granite hills, fragrant vegetation and spectacular sea views provide the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable day of cycling.

Our destination is Porto Cervo, the glamorous heart of the Costa Smeralda, renowned for its elegant marina, luxury yachts and sophisticated atmosphere. Here, we'll have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and experience one of Sardinia's most celebrated destinations.

After our ride back towards Palau, we'll enjoy some well-deserved relaxation, with time to savour the fresh flavours and laid-back atmosphere of the Mediterranean coast.

Hotel Palau | Palau

Today promises to be one of the highlights of our Sardinian adventure as we discover the breathtaking La Maddalena Archipelago, a spectacular collection of islands surrounded by some of the clearest turquoise waters in the Mediterranean.

From Palau, we'll take the ferry across to La Maddalena, where a wonderful day of island cycling awaits. We'll explore the island's scenic roads, enjoying spectacular coastal panoramas, secluded bays and the distinctive granite landscapes that make this archipelago so special.

Our journey also takes us to Caprera, the beautiful neighbouring island connected to La Maddalena by a bridge. This peaceful natural paradise is also famous as the home of Giuseppe Garibaldi, the legendary Italian revolutionary who spent the final decades of his life here.

After a memorable day surrounded by extraordinary coastal scenery, we'll return to Palau by ferry. It's the perfect opportunity to celebrate our final day of riding and reflect on an unforgettable journey across Sardinia.

Back in Palau, why not toast the experience with a Garibaldi cocktail, made with Campari and fresh orange juice, before enjoying our final evening together?

After a final breakfast overlooking the beautiful surroundings of Palau, it's time to say goodbye to Sardinia and the wonderful memories we've created along the way.

From the dramatic cliffs of Capo Caccia and the colourful streets of Alghero to the peaceful landscapes of Gallura and the crystal-clear waters of La Maddalena, we've experienced some of the very best this extraordinary island has to offer.

Following check-out, our team will arrange your transfer to Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport, bringing your Sardinian cycling adventure to a close.
