Here is what our clients say about this tour………
The Maratona dles Dolomites package was superb. From the days leading up to the event to the actual race day when we had a ton of support. These guys are actual cyclists so have a good understanding of how to make the trip truly epic. Great routes and even better vibes ✌🏽 Bonus shout out to Carlo who went over and above to keep my family entertained while we were out riding 🙏
NISHANT | Gran Fondo Maratona dles dolomites 2023
Where to meet |

---|---|
Drop off location |
Following the conclusion of the tour we will assist you with planning and booking of onward travel. We will run one transfer to Venice or Verona airports/train station leaving in the late morning. |
Transfer time |
Please consider eating lunch before we collect you from Verona. The transfer time from Verona to the Dolomites is 2:30hrs. We will stop for a fresh coffee along the way. |
Riding in the Dolomites |
The general road conditions in the Dolomites are very good but can be affected by weather events. During the Maratona week there are many cyclists on the roads and there’s very much a cycling party vibe. The roads are still open to the public until the day of the Gran Fondo so the roads are shared with car owners and bikers. |
Cuisine |
The food is excellent in the region of Trento. Restaurants cater for both vegan and vegetarians. Home-made local wines and beer are a must to try. |
Hotel facilities |
The hotel has a sauna and spa. There is a laundry service, good Wi-Fi and bar service. The hotel may charge extra for the use of these facilities. |
Private tours & groups |
We welcome the opportunity to discuss a private tour should you be in a group of more than six people. A private tour allows a customised experience so you can add days before or after the GF, or perhaps you would like to bring family and friends. |
Weather |
The mountains can be unpredictable and weather may change quickly. This is particularly the case in the afternoons when high pressure builds. Our experienced guides will amend rides, routes and timings to ensure you are riding in safe and hopefully sunny conditions. |
